Yes you are correct, shorts sell stock they don't already own, longs, you and I buy stock that we own, so in a short squeeze the shorts must buy to cover their sold shares and only us longs actually own them to sell. Generally a short squeeze is created by a rising price that forces shorts to cover and if no longs(you and I) sells at that price they can only pay more or force the price higher until we sell, so us longs make money in a short squeeze and short lose money. For the record the higher the % of float shorted the more juice we get out of the squeeze. I personally don't see this as a severely shorted stock but I could be wrong. LOngs or you and I loose money if this stock becomes a diluted stinky pinky ( which it isn't) and the price tanks and then we sell our shares for a lose and the shorts buy them to cover at a profit.

I don't have a crystal ball to tell were the price goes from here but yes if there's a short squeeze and your trying to buy your late for the party unless it's extremely heavily shorted there could be continued buying pressure for sometime. I

Hopefully I didn't just confuse you more. wink

By the way this is a pretty good board(so far) compared to some. Dino and I are in another stock together that is a excellent board, so ask any question you have none are dumb at all and if I or someone else responds and it's not correct someone else will come along and correct it and that's a good thing.
