"The end of March will be the long-awaited date of activation of the Albanian Energy Exchange, ALPEX, which will undoubtedly guarantee transparency, competition and efficient use of capacities, especially today more than ever when the private sector is investing heavily in photovoltaic capacities" , Balluku declared.

ALPEX marks a new operating standard in the energy sector, which will guarantee more transparency and competition in the electricity market, as well as affect the increase in the security of electricity supply, the more efficient use of cross-border capacities such as and it is expected that the price of electricity will decrease for citizens.
