I guess if you don't remember the first movie, you're not going to remember the similarities.

We watched Nomadland a couple of weeks ago. I remember it won a lot of awards last year. We thought it was boring and a waste of time. I have to wonder what is considered a good movie any more? I heard The Whale was totally depressing and hard to watch. And Everything, Everywhere All at once is definitely not deserving of anything, anywhere at any time ever.
A few years ago it was Parasite. In fact, I just went back and looked at some of the winners of awards over the last few years, it's pretty apparent how they are voting, and the reverse bias they are trying to recognize.
Just my opinion, of course.
