iflhdy, I think they can run this stock "if" they announce the spinoff. Doing so would elevate this ticker in preparation for the new spinoff ticker.
But in this market, a new spinoff or company might initially gain upwards, but will retrace back down due to the overall volatility. IQST would benefit as it remains the parent company and the new ticker is the subsidiary.
Not sure if this is the "news" they are speaking of in "next week's" language - personally I took it as "coming weeks" given the language difference and the faux pas some of the previous misspellings/grammatical PR's.

Either way, I would wait until the K pops before I announced anything...summer is going to heat up some stocks and the market, regardless of the "sky is falling" language some billionaires are hoping will take place so they can scoop up cheap shares and become even wealthier. Keep in mind it is in their best interest to push the market down. Think about it: aside from inflation (which is in my mind long overdue on some prices), people are spending like crazy, there are 1.7 jobs for every one person out in the market, gas is back down, housing prices are still elevated and hot (ok, the housing one is a bit troubling), but all in all, the economy is pretty good with supply chains getting back online - now, let's end Russia, make nice with China and get back to business.
