This continues to be a clown show. Always has been and probably always will be.

Based upon the statement, he's not aware of even further liability. Many times the artillery (cannons) aboard Spanish merchant ships were lent or leased to them by the Crown. If so, the ship can therefore be classified as a 'vessel of war'. That was determined at the UNESCO Underwater Cultural Heritage Treaty formation in Paris, France in 1999 or 2000. Spain was quite emphatic about this.

All of this is nonsense anyway. No shipwreck found at Melbourne. FLOTSAM.

The Juno shipwreck. A 100 ft. ballast pile which according to the clown ringmaster contains billions in treasure. But oddly enough not one cannon. I posted this explanation before but it went right over their heads. There is more than one incident documented (AGI Spain) where a vessel was leaking badly and could not be repaired at sea. Sea conditions favorable, all cargo (treasure) anchors and artillery was transferred onto another vessel/vessels. The Juno wreck fits that scheme perfectly. No artillery, no treasure, no anchors with the exception of the one she was riding on when all this occurred. All likelihood she was SCUTTLED.

Oh, but maybe I need to rethink all of this considering the billions in treasure, and probably the artillery are five miles away from the ballast pile as some have implied. Oh, but then there's the treasure is under the worm poop theory. I guess that would also include the perhaps 30 to 40 imaginary cannons as well.

Tell me this isn't the most classic clown show you've ever seen in the world of shipwreck treasure hunting. The excuses are only going to get better.
