Silvergate Capital Stock Up 6% on BlackRock's 7.2% Stakebkg

Shares of Silvergate Capital Corp. on Tuesday climbed after BlackRock Inc. disclosed a 7.2% stake in the bank.

At 15:02 E.T., shares were up 6.2% at $13.76.

The stock is down 85% in the past six months. The La Jolla, Calif., bank held about $1 billion of its deposits from the FTX crypto exchange and its affiliates, which collapsed in November.
