I see your point. However, there is shorting. It's naked shorting. Naked shorting is not as traceable as you think. Even though it's illegal, many firms get around it. The SEC turns a blind eye sometimes. Not to mention you can clearly see MM manipulation on the level 2 and trades. We can get around it with enough retail and news. But to think there's no shorting or manipulation in one of the most popular stocks in the OTC, is crazy to think.
