My Brother who uses TD Ameritrade just got off the phone with a representative from TDA. FYI, my brother has been trading stocks for over 30 years and at one time was a Stock Broker with his own Brokerage. He was familiar with the process, but not for OTC stocks.
To do so with TDA, OTC stocks certificates cannot be pulled directly through them. You would have to transfer your shares to a Transfer Agent and they can issue you your stocks via a physical Stock Certificate. Also, they can be sold through the Transfer Agent just like you would through TDA or E-Trade.
*TDA will allow you to pull certs directly through them for big board stocks on NYSE, NASDAQ, etc., but not OTC stocks.
Hope that helps clear up this topic.
Interesting process and apparently it can be done.
