Fred, Given that you can count the number of trades in the past month on one hand, I doubt if anybody we know sold anything. On top of that, the number of shares traded is pocket change, or worse, take a "penny leave a penny" change. Alex is back, if you haven't noticed, jabbering away like a magpie. I think it's funny that his crew has abandoned him. I don't have any information, maybe I'll look into it next week.

For the benefit of longs, or those considering going long, I did not promise anything, and nothing was promised to me. I was told that the merger should close at the end of January, I hope that nobody reads that as a promise of any kind from anyone. I have money invested here, and I have already accepted that I may lose it, so I don't have any reason to churn about it. In fact, I was more nervous before I decided to go "all in" on this bet, then I got the picture, which I will repeat.

(1) GPGD owns the rights to stated concessions of 3.6m oz in Venezuela, but cannot afford to mine it.

(2) There are major stockholders that are still serious about making a profit.

(3) The company is run by one man, who in my opinion is honest and trustworthy and knows mining. He may not get top dollar on the "merger", but it's better to have one bird in the hand than two in the bush, so to speak.

(4) To be sure, it could all fall through, that's the risk.

(5) All this is my personal opinion, don't make investment decisions based on it. Do your own research, please.

As far as technical analysis goes. You can see for yourself there isn't more than $100 traded on this stock in any one day. Trades on this stock are determined by individuals, not by a statistical population of traders. The price may drift one way or the other, but it means nothing. I would say you are either in now or you're out. We're just waiting to see the cards on the table. When the merger is announced, assuming it is, I think it is very likely that trading on GPGD will be halted and shares converted to another company. The big uncertainty is which company and what exchange rate. That's the dream now.

That's all there is.
