It didn't sound like the prospects for reopening were good. However, there was some slight ambiguity in the details, but I didn't feel I had the liberty to ask for clarification, as it wasn't the business of the person I spoke with..
The phone # for Illegal Pizza no longer works (instead of just ringing with no answer, or failing over to a recording).
The additional legal case details I found yesterday -- though very limited to what I could see for free -- which indicate (at first glance) some kind of eviction order was issued by the landlord is also not a good sign, unless it was just a hard-kick to convince the defendants to respond quickly if they want to reopen.
I still don't understand why Miklos Gulyas is involved -- as his company SOFLO PIZZA 2 seems to have dropped out of involvement with the property roughly 5 years ago.
Speculating, Gulyas could be returning to operate a business there, and the landlord knows it, or else the landlord is reaching waaaaaaay back to go after whomever he thinks he can get to pay-up. [I couldn't get enough case details for free to learn when the lack of payments began, and for how much, and who stopped paying.]
The only 'positive' thing I found trace evidence of is that the business license seems to be in a state of transference; but I can't be sure of that until some other records become publicly accessible to prove the transfer happened and that the existing license delinquency has been cured.
As of this moment, there hasn't been a 2023 annual report for ILLEGAL PIZZA LAUDERHILL LLC filed with the state of Florida (last two years were both filed in Feb), to give me any more clues about what's happening.
