If the yield was that low, it tells me that the tailings were dirt and that most likely they went into two stages of mining, 1st was to take out the gold that was easily retrievable...then 2nd stage they leached those tailings to recover the fine particles...which means there is no gold to recover in those tailings.. hmm... 1 gram of tailings...
They should ask those cooperatives if they leached those tailings... if they did nothing to recover.... if they did not., then they will most likely need to leach to get the gold out.. The easy gold is gone.
These are tailings from a placer mine not a hard rock mine....
