They busted a specific group of guys who were blatant and working with a lot of money.


And yes there's been others busted throughout the years but it's just not a prevalent thing.

They aren't going to go around to every OTC company and look to see if there's a few folks pumping or bashing. Almost every board has some pumping and some of it is just longs who get excited about their position and what they believe is coming. Just like all the bashing isn't nefarious but often times personal vendettas or people who lost money on a stock etc.

There is no way the SEC is going to look at every stock and into every person buying and selling a security.

Just not going to happen. A few guys get busted and suddenly some people think the SEC is going to be hanging out on message boards and twitter looking at every trade made ?

Many of the folks who got busted were also big ego maniacs flaunting their shit. Just dumb to begin with. It's like going outside in the middle of a hurricane. You're bound to get hit.

And let's face it. There's folks on many of the forums always screaming pump n dump even when there isn't one.

An individual or a few yelling out high PT and selling lower isn't going to make the cut. It's not the same as organized groups taking part in a p n d....jmo
