KOLD straddles - I closed out my Feb 10th $61 and $67 straddles by selling $55 calls late on Friday for $2.40 .... so the cash flows were $12.70 + $13.20 for writing the straddles, +$4.80 for the covered calls and -$6 and -$12 for the assignments (KOLD bought at $61 and $67, then sold at $55 on the put/call assignments).
Net cash flow for the Feb 10th straddles was +$1,270 ($6.35 average per straddle).
Combined with the loss of $437 on the Feb 3rd straddle, a net overall profit of $833 for the 3 straddles. Hardly a windfall, but a profit nonetheless.
I also sold a Feb 17th $57.5 straddle for $9 late Friday ..... as a percent of the strike the premium diminished to 15.7% versus 19.6% the prior Friday, reflecting diminished volatility in NG.
