Suggested and requested have very different meanings. The testing wasn’t requested until the last meeting and that was mainly because there were 8 new members on the board That had no clue what radiogel is. If all the board members from the original meeting were still there they probably would have never requested the extra testing.

There’s not one company out there that would spend the time and money on something like that until it’s requested. Especially radiogel on a fairly tight budget.
