I wouldnt worry unless your phone starts to bulge, gets real hot when charging, or is real old.
One thing is 3 of those news stories were from past week or so. News media telling people their lithium battery devices are causing fire. That alone will eventually demand safer devices as people will begin to slightly worry their phone or laptop might blaze up imo. Prime Time for Megola to find some partner(s) and launch their eco friendly fire inhibitors products asap

Athother thing is keeping your phone on, and plugged in increases magnetic radiation by 20x so if phone is by the bed, might not be great.

Seems like the lithium batterys getting banged around like ones on e-bikes are ones to be real careful with and are starting the bigger fires.
