Here's some research on reverse splits. As you can see it's not good for the investor.



I'm pretty sure we are all aware of how most reverse splits turn out. I think the point that is being missed is that we've been here long enough to know all that and still want it to happen. I don't subscribe to the OTC Manipulation Theory, but I do believe there is a low ceiling on this stock without institutional investors. I do not believe there is any significant shorting going on at these levels, but a reverse split into the multiple dollar range would it put it right into their wheelhouse. That's why investors dread a reverse split done on the decline in order to maintain an exchange listing. In weakness, it is more vulnerable to shorting. The goal would be to reverse split in order to uplist as new products come online to bolster established, stable revenue. There's always going to be efforts to short it into BK, but if the RS and uplist are done right, then those shorts can be squeezed to shareholders' advantage.
