Occam’s razor suggests Kim would’ve PR’d the production of silk anywhere near the discussed 200 kilo threshold, especially if the quality and quantity of which was good enough for sale. We haven’t had such a PR so it’s reasonable to assume such production hasn’t occurred. To invoke the Razor for another more convoluted explanation would be “oxymoronic” in that Occam’s Razor doesn’t apply to convolution, complication or otherwise rabbit-hole-like explanations for situations where a simple, logical solution is already present.

And the Razor suggests that he does so as he has ALWAYS had less than truly good news (successful production and revenue) to convey, but has to issue a PR every now and then so a positive spin is put on the otherwise bad news.
