Basically, yes. The SEC has wanted to get rid of the OTC for a long time. They finally did it when they adopted these amendments to "enhance retail investor protections" https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2020-212 I tried to warn OTC traders for over a year as to what was coming. These rule changes basically killed every catalyst that has historically made OTC stocks run up big.....creating wealth for many. Reverse merger plays (like what BABL started as) are done for. The expert market has over 3k stocks sitting dormant, only available to "sophisticated traders" should something actually happen with any of them. It is corrupt to high heaven. Many traders were saying the changes were a "good thing".....as an experienced trader I knew it meant the END. Furthermore, the OTCM's last qtr filing was NOT good. There has been a significant decline in retail trading volume and subscriptions. I give the OTC another year or two before the SEC ends us for good. The writing is on the wall.
