Fortunately a lot of traders have not bothered to open an eTrade or Fidelity account to buy shares(you don't have to transfer shares or switch brokers) you can have more than 1 broker.

Some feel it's too much trouble but they will likely end up paying more when it goes PC because it will gap up at that point
