$PONO: Merging with SBC Medical GROUP

SPAC Pono Capital Two (NASDAQ:PTWO) has agreed to merge with SBC Medical Group, a Japanese operator of aesthetic medical clinics.

The deal values SBC Medical at around $1.2B, according to an SEC filing.

In November, Japanese software and consulting company Heartcore said that it assisting SBC Medical in preparing for an IPO on Nasdaq.

Earlier this week, Pono Two's sibling SPAC, Pono Capital (PONO), announced that its shareholders had approved a merger with Japanese air mobility technology developer Aerwins (AWIN).
