You might be right. Selling 50 lbs of silk would be great but you’ll notice that hasn’t happened either, suggesting either production just isn’t nearly as robust as we’d hoped or the quality isn’t there - perhaps both. Some say tonnage is all that matters but I think they mean to include “revenue from tonnage is all that matters” because the revenue wouldn’t come without customers knowing the quality was there too. Still, we have no revenue, no signs of Spydasilk, etc. so that should give you a clue about where we’re at. As for the pps after a 50 lbs sale, I too am sure the price would rise but it’d be the second sale and third, etc. and then only if the quantities increased that’d propel the price significantly higher because that would at least demonstrate repeatability and that tonnage - which is sorely needed for financial health - is on the way. So ultimately, tonnage IS all that matters in the medium to long term because without it, from where would the revenue come to support operations? Nobody likes the answer to that question.
