As in my morning post we did advance then had to fall back a little. Not an issue. As the new troops landed and became organized they most defiantly helped the break out. I feel we will break the enemy’s lines again and advance well into the interior tomorrow. I think a good .0033 will be where we are by days end tomorrow.

But there is a very good possibility that the heavy bombers will catch up and let there loads go. If that happens we might really shock the enemy and be able to push even further to .004 consolidate and hold.

We will soon be out of range of naval gun fire support but hell that’s why they invented artillery and self propelled guns and the airplane. Well today was great but once again as we settle into defensive positions for tonight be on the lookout for the enemy recon patrols who will do everything to try to shake our nerves and even capture or kill us. If you see or hear one remember shoot fast true and aim low. One shot one kill. Do not jerk the trigger squeeze it.
