If everything alleged in your post is true, I find it amazing that nobody can find weavers to handle Spidasilk business in Vietnam, a country ranking among the six largest silk producing countries in the world according to worldatlas.com. Seriously?!?! Weavers?!?! Sericulture is in fact one of the primary reasons Vietnam was selected for production, was it not? As such, I’ve also gotta call BS on the “can’t find weavers to handle the volume” excuse for the lack of a Spydasilk launch. Until a more plausible explanation surfaces, I’ve gotta believe they never received enough viable silk to begin operations. It’s the most logical, common sense answer.
