AI ($20.45) is probably one good ticker to watch as a barometer to see if we get a real artificial intelligence mania. I don't know the history, but on a 3-year chart, this thing was already at 160 in the past. So maybe artificial intelligence already had its mania in the past? Anyway, the company had news yesterday which was pretty typical of mania plays, "Hey, we do artificial intelligence and incorporate ChatGBT. We're gonna have some products in a month." Lots of big names included, lots of buzzwords, and even a quote from a General (who they fail to mention also happens to work for the company).

I have no idea if this, or any other company will be successful, but the press release feels mania-ish:
