I think it gets interesting is if GNS does a deal where it is able to dividend shares to shareholders. Let me use round numbers there are 25 million total shares. There are about 2 million legal shorts and who knows how many million naked shorts. When/if GNS does a dividend, it will only be for the 25 million issued shares, the shorts broker will be forced to acquire shares in that entity to give to whoever bought the shorted shares. Understand that shorts are not entitled to dividends, rather they have to pay them from their account.

So how would the shorts go about buying millions of shares in a private third party entity? I think we are going to see this play out across the entire industry to address shorting.
