Once and a while These electric cars become a scorching, melting metal death trap if the Battery ketches Fire when crashed, or from corosion due to Flood water:

Also MY opinion: >> Nothing Green << about the mining it takes to make one of these Heavy Ass EV Batteries, for instance the new [B] Hummer EV battery weighs 3000 lbs, vehicals total weight in at 9000 pounds. [/B] (that is about twice the weight of a gas powered truck, 3x weight of a smaller gas car.. 2600lbs and up..)


AND who wants their Wife down at the EV charging station for an hour or two in this day and age.
Ev Power Charging stations Need 24 hour armed security imo.

All and all, we need these EV vehicles treated with some sort of Fire inhibiting Gel, etc. the hard to put out fires start in bad crashes, occasionally while charging, and firefighters are really working overtime to put them out.

I hope Megola is on their recently acquired lithium fure gel and calls up E Musk. Or at least someone gets these batteries safer.
