Comparing the stock behavior of one stock in a group to others in the same group on a daily basis is nearly irrelevant if its being used as a basis in determining inner strenght or weakness.
I use the word "nearly " because there are times when a group falls in or out of favor and all the boats rise or fall at the same time.
In the final analysis, its the fundamentals and technicals that determine the ultimate direction of a stock and not daily comparisons. Trends and technical signals along with acknowledging fundamentals and trusted professional research determine the direction of sh/px not comparing
its direction with peer group stocks. It's a waste of time and the conclusions drawn can be misleading.
