Got the following from my broker:

It looks like the expected delivery of shares on January 9th, or possibly sooner. The reason for the delay is they are working on getting an ADR set up since it is going from a Canadian to Australian company. Hope this helps.

then when that didnt happen I asked again:

I spoke to our corporate action team this morning and it looks like we are still waiting on the depository bank that is handling this to deliver the shares to E*TRADE. They put in a research case to see if there is any additional information on what is holding them up or if we have been provided an updated timeframe of the delivery.
