Good analogy WDave. Not sure if this was your exact reference but below is the article of the revenue partnership that Xalles formed with ATN Trading back in 2019. I decided to sign up for their service then to do my own Due diligence and the software was pretty amazing and, YES, it allows crypto traders to make money when the market is up or down if you understand and practice using their software. Im not sure if that revenue agreement is still in effect with Xalles, but it was a good addition to the Xalles Crypto section of their model.
