GEGR has such a unique and growing portfolio of partial acquisitions over the past 3 years! Some of them could become extreme revenue generators.

Case in point is their relationship with MetroVR, the company that published the virtual reality game, Orion13. While that game doesn't seem to be a huge hit, the real sleeper portion of that deal could be the programming tools that they intend to make available for virtual reality programmers, making it easier and quicker to bring their own virtual reality titles to life on wireless VR platforms.

If anyone wonders why their UPAS toolkit for the Unreal Engine wasn't targeted until this upcoming summer, I can lend some indirect insight into why I think that is the case. I've been a 3d graphics programmer for decades. The two key gaming platforms that programmers use for developing their games are Unity and the Unreal Engine. That's well known.

But what's not well known to the general public is that both of those platforms have been undergoing a fundamental shift in their programming architecture, requiring programmers to adopt a completely new method of programming that will dramatically accelerate the performance of computer games and/or scientific simulations. Both of those platforms are just about to launch their level 1.0 version of these new programming libraries.

To give you an idea, performance wise, I've tested a pre-release version from Unity. When using a fast Blender 3D game platform, I could get about 300 real-time 3d rigid body objects running in real-time. With the new programming method, it jumped to over 6000! Final release versions promise even better performance. That's 20 times faster for starters. Usually I expect a 2x boost every 18 months!

If MetroVR can establish themselves with a dominant programming library for wireless VR for the Unreal Engine, getting thousands of programmers to use it, it would be a huge deal from my perspective. Plus, they might knock out a hit VR program of their own as well.

This would represent just a tidbit of the potential revenue that GEGR could make in the future, from just one partial acquisition/investment. You should see all the other things that GEGR has in the works! Good luck with your DD.
