Sure there was lots of sell orders today.. way more than buys. Seemingly non stop ask walls. I have no doubt many flipped for profit, probably those who don’t want to wait out the merger announcement. That’s fair imo. But we’ve all seen the obvious MM walk down before. Buyers dried up pretty quick later in the day yet SP still kept sliding. This was a good ol MM shuffle. Happens on every pinky. Won’t be surprised if it happens again tomorrow. No buyers or sellers needed. Just 2 MMs buying and selling to each other.
