Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, at the same time Minister for Infrastructure and Energy, participated in the Global Energy Forum, organized by the Atlantic Council under the umbrella of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
Through a post on the MIE's official Facebook page, Minister Balluku announced that the meeting discussed the main milestones of the 2030 global energy agenda, which has been significantly affected by the current crisis.
"We agreed that this is a critical moment, where energy security is closely related to the implementation of the green agenda", writes Minister Balluku.
According to her, the challenge of energy security is related to the cohesion between public and private sector decision-makers, but also the development of new innovative and sustainable technologies. (Irma)
