I respect Baer but I'm really surprised by what he said. He knows very well that the academic archaeological community frowns on anything to do with treasure hunting and motive of going for the gold. But look at it this way. With the old juke boxes you put in a quarter pushed the buttons and it played the tune. These contract archaeologists are no different.

As you said, these people have never found gold, or silver for that matter. It's been a clown show from the beginning and continues to be the same. Hot air balloon profits is what its all about.
