You thought WRONG!

I posted information on surrendering shares. In order to understand surrendering shares one needs to be familiar with forfeiting shares since the two CAN BE related.

The information I posted is not the end all to end all. There could be other factors (rules, regs, laws) at play in Leo's decision that we're not aware of (we don't know what we don't know).

The link I posted explains forfeiture and surrender of shares. This article EXPLAINS and you characterized it as me (via my post) raising a forfeiture issue.

How you interpret information I post...is on you.

"Who said he was "forced." Who said the shares wasn't paid for?"
I thought that YOU did. You posted the link that says that a forfeiture occurs when shares that haven't been fully paid for are involuntarily returned to the Company.

"I am content to take Leo at his word that this is a personal tax situation."
So am I, but then your raising of the possibility that the return of shares may have been a forfeiture was irrelevant. It was a voluntary return of shares according to the man himself.

It was only your link that raised the forfeiture issue but if it turns out that there was an issue about his ownership of the shares based on the way he "paid" for them it wouldn't surprise me. I thought it was funky from the gitgo.
