What happened is simple math, figure out the outstanding shares , go over the facts of the deal , make a calculation to see what the shares are or will be worth when the deal goes thru and you get....guess what....maybe .0011 or .0012?
just my opinion, but I've seen that happen in a more straight forward merger/takeover....the newco pays for what it gets...not some inflated number based on traders' hype....simple math...
