I hope I am wrong but based on past history I predict there will be no significant upside to this stock until there is either a buyout, settlement or Court win and any of these events are unlikely to occur until we get much closer to trial in July. So we wait and then wait some more. the prophet

Absolutely spot on and yes, waiting is a big part of any patent play.

Follow the court record, play the highs and lows if you wish and then wait for the outcome. We either come out victorious and everyone will have a shot of getting out on top or we don't. It's as simple as that.

Now if you look more carefully and understand a bit about the technical aspects of the patents themselves, then you will understand how important expert witness testimony will be to the outcome of this litigation. This is not a wishy washy well maybe they are infringing type of litigation. This is far more straight forward - they either are or are not. Read up about SIP 2.0 technology, Nodes, etc. and then read the fine print in VPLM's patents. Watch and listen to what Malak has said publicly about how these patents operate and how they have been tested AND validated by 3rd party (MI5).

So....what is left at this point?

Expert testimony that can better give defendants an idea of whether they are infringing. If they believe they are...THEY WILL SETTLE.

If they believe they are not then they could let this go to court and take the risk.

What they do not want to do is hand over source code to show the layers of SIP 2.0. What they don't want to do is defend how they use their technology that is clearly patented by VPLM (as per the 20 PTAB IPR losses).

No, the defendants will try to knock out VPLM on any legal technicality they can. And they should try.

But at some point their time in court will come. Do they risk treble damages? I wouldn't..

And the optimism (for me) has always been here otherwise i'd be long gone.
