Why you think unelected - never losing their jobs !! - SCOTUS judges are a good place for major decisions - is beyond me

9 people - with lifetime appointments - no consequences to actions - does not seem to be the best default place for rules that govern 300++ million people

1. Their terms need to be 10 years max
2. Congress must be required to wake up --- somehow --- they are the ones closest to the people
3. YET - I agree - when an issue is truly a constitutional issue relating to our rights and liberties - SCOTUS should be the place
