Agreed. Seems to be the trade of the day though. Did you see the record options volumes this year? The handles that come and go here should be a decent indication of the success. Maybe folks should research how many options expire worthless. I wonder what the proportion of successes posted versus the fails not posted is. There aren't many posters that post buys and sells in real time and even fewer that post their fails. Even then, hard to tell the legitimacy. I have no idea where SPY, IWM and oingo boingo will settle this year or next. I wish I did. I will leave that kind of arrogance up to the rest of them. My call is for lower in the first half of 2023. I still am 2/3 equities and 1/3 cash. I am going to jump in if TQQQ gets to 10. But wtf does that matter if you don't know how old I am? Doesn't it make a difference if I have a kid in college or a bugatti in the driveway? The folks that post about what I should be doing without any idea of where I am is a joke. I am going to buy puts expiring tomorrow to put my kids through college? Morons. Pretending like the University of Michigan won't take dollars for tuition is an idiot's folly. You're welcome to your ideas and are certainly welcome to criticize mine but until you want to pay my grocery bill or put my kid through college, shut the fuck up. I have no idea where the stock market be it SPX or DJI or whatever. All I know is that things have appreciated since the day I started investing how many ever decades ago. HFNY to all.
