Had shares put to me last week at $55. Sold the Jan. 20 $55 calls earlier this week. A positive for LPI is that their unfavorable hedge contracts end tomorrow, 12/31. On the other hand, the price of oil and ngas are down. I don't like the company because their outlook is not great for 2023 and there is no dividend. To be honest, I think the stock could go to $46 or lower because anything is possible in the oil market.
I do like your play, though. It think it is very smart. And, I just remembered I didn't get my pick 4 selections in. Damn. That is the time I did this.
