Food and Drug Administration warned consumers not to eat certain jars of Peter Pan or Great Value peanut butter because of the risk of contamination.

The affected jars have a product code on the lid that begins with the number "2111." The affected jars are made by ConAgra in a single facility in Sylvester, Ga., the FDA said.


lol, my kids come over to me this morning with a brand new peanut butter jar and say "we have to throw this out - it has salmonella" I looked at my daughter like she was nuts - "how the heck would u know that"? They were watching it on TV and checked the numbers on the jar we had and they matched up!
