Adam Aron wants to do the reverse split so he can get the AMC price to $40 - $50. When the share price gets this high his Co insentive bonus shares are multiplied giving him a big payday. He walks away with a fortune while we the shareholders get the number of shares we hold cut down by 90%. If you have 1000 shares you will have 100 shares after RS while you fill AA's pockets with millions of dollars for his greedy, miserable retirement. Check his company bonus insentive plan if you don't believe me.
Ask yourself another question. why did he choose a 1 for 10 RS. If he is worried about delisting he just needs to get AMC to the teens which is more like 1 for 3. AA wants 1 for 10 for his personal gain.
The man needs to be fired/removed from office.
Ask yourself this, why would AA sell APE stock at the 52 week low price to this HF. He is bailing out his shorting HF friends. When he knows how badly we need the highest price possible to pay off the AMC CO debt. This guy is GD CON MAN.
