Back then companies like JDS*U and Corning raised prices numerous times because customer demand far exceeded supply. They also invested to build up capacity so by 2001 there was no longer a shortage in fiber optic supply. Which allowed for broadband to start to take off.
During 1999- 2000 the stock prices of JDS*U and Corning SKYROCKETED in a short 3 -4 month period from Sept 99’ - Jan 00’
The above analogy is typical of most hyper growth industries and I believe BIEI is in the early innings of growth (top of the 1st inning) and just might be the next JDS*U.
