Let's be clear. I'm not angry about anything. As far as domestic and foreign domestic car manufacturers go, that's not anger, it's sadness. I love cars and I used to really love American cars. To see them slide down the same slope as the steel industry, is awful. I worked one summer in the Johnstown mills that made the steel for the Golden Gate bridge. They were all shutdown cold years ago. I think the big three of the past could do more, that's all. To me it's a lot like the reaction to imports, repackage and lots of promotion. Meanwhile they could be cutting a deal, pay a royalty, have better product and because of less tooling, parts and weight, still break even or save money. Maybe I'm wrong, doesn't matter if I am or if I'm right.
If you think the post about Toyota's website was angry, that was irritation. You should see the game from the inside. A lot of singing a lot of dancing, tons of psychology, doublespeak and a few dead dogs in the script. That's where you put in something really wrong so the client can change it and feel like they were part of the process. I'm sure a lot of charts and demographic studies were tossed about, but in the end what looks good playing off a hard drive, shoots itself in the foot when it tries to go over the internet. Someone has a nice piece for their portfolio, but you are supposed to have SOME steak with the sizzle.
It's all good. You of all people should understand how different people can interpret the same text in ways the author didn't intend. If the tone is passionate so what? Considering what Torvec has, who is working with them and where we are in history, why wouldn't everyone who knows about it, be excited? EOM
