I had some relatives who lost their primary residence of 40+ years during the 2008 crash. They actually lasted almost a decade after that, but ultimately lost the house. Ocwen was there every step of the way. Constantly harassing and showing up unannounced to ask people for ID, or even to interrogate neighbors just to add embarrassment. They would show up in chicago suburbs with dust covered SUVs that had been stored underneath Wacker Drive downtown. They would have fake paper license plates from Texas. I can even post pictures of those as I almost ended up beating the shit out of one of them. They are the biggest shithole scam company in America and if you invest in them, you want failure and doom all around you.
