IB - no buys on Expert but avoids ADR issue

If you try to buy EMMS on IB, you will get "Only closing orders are permitted in this instrument."

As far as ADR's, the problem goes away since on IB, you can buy on the foreign exchange directly. For example, I no longer hold the Tetragon ADR but own Tetragon directly on the Amsterdam exchange via IB..
