Codelco's charade 10-month test drilling program in Maricunga that was supposed to be completed in October 2022 (and the exact same in October 2021 plus October 2020) is now rescheduled to complete in February 2023 (same as it was supposed to do in February 2022), the NLC (National Lithium Company) hasn't budged even an inch in its creation since Marcela Hernando took over squatting/crapping on the Ministry of Mining, Codelco hasn't the seed capital to fund any new exploration on top of being 850,000mt "short" in copper production over the next 5 years, and SIMCO looks ready to sue Codelco into the crapper with a lawsuit scheduled to run 15 years of which I bet we will join in 2023.

This deadlock in lithium mining expansion is squarely the fault of Mommy's Boy Gabby Boric who really has no viable workable plan for lithium mining in Chile and is so inexperienced in basic governing that nothing is getting accomplished in Chile other the manufacture of massive amounts of hot-air from puffed-up politicians who have never run a business on their own and have no idea how to make even one peso without intrusive unsustainable government handouts/subsidies.
