That philosophy has been changing recently. If a co. presents news/PR, to follow the R/S, the stock can fly. The days of an automatic short attack after the r/s are no longer.
I bought 9.000 shares, $NVAX at around 0.52 back around Feb. 2020, and a few minutes after the order went through they announced a 1:20 r/s. Instinct told me to not hold because I knew what that could mean (prior experience with r/s with other co.s.). Sold, and it dipped into the low .40s at least and it felt so good.

Then I watched as it crept back up to where I got out, then the r/s went into effect, and it was around $11.00/share post-split. I would have held 450 shares. CV-19 helped a lot, of course, and then I watched as the sp left $11 behind and ran and ran, briefly touching $331.

My 450 (9,000) shares that cost me $4770 were then worth $148,950, and I didn't hold them. That's just one example. Lately, have seen several similar.

Anyway, after a lot of twists and turns and gov't shenanigans with the plandemic and picking favorites, profit-taking, market conditions, short attacks for over 2-1/2 years, and stock offerings along the way, guess where the sp is now......$11. Funny how that tends to play out. GL (if long/bull)
