TD doesn't hate NSS and makes big money at your expense selling your shares to shorts, against your interest as a long. Note: Really, they all do the same thing, my broker included. I hate them also for that reason. Even if I ran a cash account, I think they would steal my shares anyway. IMO legally they would lose in court for not providing you your rights to sell no matter what their contract says.
