I doubt they HAD a 'taxable' income .

Since you put it out there , are 'stock' incomes for companies taxable ?
I'm sure there is a code but , considering the scenario , stock proceeds 'should' have tax relief on the premise of designation/depreciation/deduction of ops etc .
I would think that IF the proceeds/money DIDN'T make it to the operations mode , then they would be taxable .
Employee taxes ?; Quarterly's should have kept them somewhere close to honest .
One thing is for sure , the IRS probably has it's eye on employee payouts (plasma and the like) received and/or not .
And howabout SS , unemployment tax , disabilty etc .
