Keith, AthlonXP is just the brand name...,

This may be true, but it refers to a 32 bit chip not a 64 bit chip. Are you suggesting that "paris" and "palermo" are castrated K8s with the 64 bit extensions turned off?

If not, then I revert to my previous question.
